Online MBAs for Military Personnel
Those in the military have a unique opportunity to further their education while serving their country. The DANTES (Defense Activity Non-Traditional Education Support) external degree program allows military personnel to earn online degrees from accredited institutions, and will often help offset the cost of that education. The DANTES external degree program was established to help those in the military gain access to a flexible, higher education. Military personnel often do not have regular access to a traditional education system. The DANTES external degree program can also help those who are called to active duty while earning their MBA at another institution. Many people enter the National Guard or the military Reserves as a way to serve their county while at the same time defer some of the cost of their education. Once called to active duty, there is no guarantee that they will be back at that institution within a reasonable time frame. The perfect option for these people is to get those last few credits online, instead of interrupting their course of study and losing some of the educational foundation needed in the last high level classes. Because most of these online MBA programs are fully accredited, credits are able to be transferred without a lot of red tape.
